Report: The Best Black Friday Car Deals

Who says Black Friday is only for finding good deals on toasters and TVs? If you're looking to drive off in a new car before the year is up, you may be able to find a vehicle for a bargain.

U.S. News & World Report recently released its list of the Best Black Friday Car Deals for 2020. The magazine compiled the list from websites for brands Kia, Toyota, Jeep, Mazda and more. The site then ranked the cars on a 10-point scale.

“Shoppers can take advantage of 0% financing for five or six years on some of our top-ranked cars,” says Jim Sharifi, managing editor of U.S. News & World Report Best Cars.

These deals apply across the country to most of the new and used models listed, but sales prices vary in different locations.

Let’s look at the report’s best car deals available through Black Friday weekend. These deals are valid through at least Nov. 30, 2020, according to manufacturers’ sites.

Money expert Clark Howard still wants you to watch your budget when it comes to buying a car, especially with today’s economy being what it is.

"Even with [the great deals], buying a vehicle is a major decision," Clark says. "It is the second-biggest expense most of us have."

So Clark suggests you buy a car right now only under two conditions:

You were already planning on buying a car because you need one.
Your financial outlook is steady for the life of the car loan.

"Since almost everyone is set up to negotiate and complete a deal online, the ability to shop with multiple sellers is extra-easy right now," Clark says.
